I too have found that the folllowing things help your cause when driving.
Keep this thought in the back of your mind. Cops enforce attitudes more than they
enforce laws.
1) Don't draw attention to yourself.
2) If stopped be polite.
3) For heavens sake, have insurance!
Here in FL driving a vehicle with the tag from another car is much worse than
having no tag at all. Common sense can go a long way in this category. Even
if your vehicle is propery registered, properly insured and you have obeyed
every single traffic ordinance, if you drive by the local constabulary and flip
him off, he will find something in the "Good Book" for you! Perhaps improper
hand signaling!
