Re: [MV] Brake help

With regards to bleeding the M35...

I have been told that simply cracking a bleeder
and mashing down the brake pedal is bad news for
the seals in the Master. It apparently trashes
them by making them travel too far into the bore,
so the use of a power bleeder is recommended,
well, at least by the person who told me.

Here's some background: this advice is from the
gent who purchased my t/o motor... he was
apparently intimate enough with the truck to
arrive with pre made engine stands for both front
and rear engine mounts, if that's worth anything!
He also told me about the use of air tool oil
squirted into the rear of the master as a life
preserver for the unit. His Volunteer FD is
fleeted with M35's and so is his personal ranch -
the gent seems to know his stuff with regards to
preventive and routine maintenance.

Cheers
Bob
