But, as I stated earlier, "I have read....", in a respected source, about
this being done to combat pilferage.
I am not defending this line of thinking, just reporting what I've read.
If there is/was no merit to this theory, does anyone out there have any ideas
how it was started?
I am traveling at the moment and unable to dig up my source for this
"information/disinformation." I will investigate further when I get home.
The objective here is that we all learn something, and if rumor unfounded,
put an end to it. Like 75.00 Jeeps in crates, etc.
