 Yes it will remove paint, rust etc. Wet sandblasting works at about 1/3 the
normal operating pressure of the high pressure washer, in the example you
give that would be 1000 lbs, which is several times the pressure used with
conventional sandblasting. Of course, the dust problem goes away, but it is
harder to keep the unused sand dry. Also one must contend with flash
rusting, usually by adding a phosphatizer to the water supply.
