Hi Verne,
    You may have another problem with your fuel system
that is masked by replacing the in tank fuel pump.
I think that there have been some discussions on the list
regarding these problems. I vaguely remember someone
saying something about air leaks or some such, and
putting in check valves to keep the fuel from draining back
down.
    maybe another list member can fill in the details.
