Agreed, Bjorn:

Used restaurant deep fryer oil is cheap - and often free - and works just
fine if you filter it really well and add a touch of kerosene to it.

Ethanol? Pure ethanol isn't good for gasoline engines designed to run
on straight gasoline. It ruins aluminum. It's OK mixed with gasoline,
though.

I have a gasoline powered Subaru Outback sedan and have been thinking
about setting it up for both gasoline and propane.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Dick

Come on guys, start using cooking oi, I have since April and got a good
1,000 miles on homemade biodiesel/cooking oil. The deuce seems to love it!
Well, at least while the weather is warm.
BTW, I pay $2.50/gallon of methanol, which is less than the price of diesel
or gas!!!
