Aren't the Astron ones less expensive? $ 240 for a 40 amp unit sounds
high

Hey, I did A LOT of research, and bought from REDARC. Its an austrailian
firm. I bought a SMF60 60 amp unit for 600 aud shipped to my door, thatıs
300US dollars. The SMF40 40amp was 240US dollars. 60 amps was overkill, but
if I run it at 40, the unit has yet to get hot.
