Well when I still had my M-37 and was still active duty I was allways getting
asked for my trip ticket going through the main gate. I was also shooed away
from the exchange gas station a few times and told to go over to the Public
works pumps....all this with California License plates fore and aft, a base DOD
sticker in the window etc. etc.

What really frosted my cornflakes was EVERYBODY thought it was a "explitive
deleted" JEEP!!! I told 'em it's a Dodge...besides, who'd want to drive
something as common as a 'lil 'ol Jeep anyway <RBG!>

The above comment was in jest, no offense to any Jeep enthusiasts out there in
Mil-Veh land either real or imagined!

Lurker Rob, now returning to said lurk mode.
