Federal law requires all markings to be removed from articles sold by the
government. No exception. DRMO does not follow policy on vehicles, so
they do come out with designations on them. To my knowledge, and it is
obvious on my vehicles, Historical Vehicle tags exempts you from being
not able to have markings on your vehicle.
Tough on them if they can't take a joke.
