Just get some chains. They'll do wonders.

BTW, M35s have lockring wheels not split rims. You may have been causing
yourself lots of unnecessary grief by telling tire shops that you've got
split rims. Most folks don't want to mess with them. Lock rings are
nothing by compairison.
